How Google Ranks Local Businesses

Google adopted big changes to their search mechanism in Nov 2010, and since then local businesses have been shown in the dominate position of the Google result page under local related keywords such as restaurant, dry cleaning, plumber, etc.

Since Google is now the most trusted and preferred way to find information, getting the top ranked position on the Google result page (especially the 1st page) have great business value!

So can you make your business rank higher?

  • Relevance
  • Prominence
  • Distance
